I am sure he has church members who listen to him, and some of them find their ways into radio studios adulterating the minds of Ghanaians. Honestly, until we get rid of the criminals who pose as pastors, we will keep going backwards. In other countries, people use their platforms to educate and for healthy debates. We use our platform to spread fear, insults, backwardness and as a means to undermine government. The ship is sinking and no one can pilot it to safety until we change our attitudes and get rid of all the uneducated fools currently occupying public spaces.

The acquiescence of this madman and the president to the outrageous utterances of these so-called prophets is detrimental to the country. It begs the question: why would these so-called prophets neglect their poor congregants to instead engage in public prophecies concerning the rich or successful?

The underlying motive is transparent: to financially exploit people by frightening them into seeking protection from them. Indeed, Ghanaians would be prudent to interpret these 'prophecies' as a form of threat and act against these individuals. Ultimately, these 'prophecies' only serve to inflict immense stress on a person and their loved ones. Shouldn't individuals have the right to defend themselves?

LAZY CHEISTIANITY (fake Christianity) has created a huge demand for fake prophets and charlatans in Ghana. Lazy Christians are professing Christians who only run after Gods gifts but are not interested in having real fellowship with the God of all creation and the Lord of Lords himself. These lazy (in reality fake Christians) are like the Prodigal son described in the Bible who only wanted his Father's gifts, assets and inheritance but did not really want to stay or be around his own loving father. We all know how that story ended in that Bible Parable.
Today's Lazy Christians only want to be blessed by God. They have absolutely no interest in seeking closer fellowship with this Holy God because that would demand that they change their behaviour and submit to the discipline of obedience to the Holy Scriptures, make time for daily time of prayer (talking to God) and Bible study (listening to God) and giving up on many of the wrong practices in their lives- such as cheating and deceiving people, exploiting others, using their position to amass dishonest wealth through extortion, bribery, deception ,lying and scamming others. These fake or lazy Christians enjoy attending Church regularl and may even serve as "elders" or board members in the church, play an instrument, teach Sunday school, sing in the choir and give big donations to the Church or the "man of God" on a regular basis. THEY ARE BASICALLY CHURCH PEOPLE AND NOT GOD'S PEOPLE (of whom the Lord will say one day "Depart from me you evil doers because I never knew you")
I have known cases where "Men of god" turned a blind eye to ongoing promiscuous or adulterous behaviour of a member because those members were big donors to the ministry or had some influence in society and were considered a great asset to the ministry. These examples are too numerous to list here.
SELF-PROMOTION, SELF AGRANDISSEMENT, ACCUMULATION OR WEALTH AND INFLUENCE HAS BECOME PRIMARY AIM AND PREOCCUPATION OR MANY PROFESSING MEN OF GOD AND WOMEN OF GOD.
