Good insight Prof, but now go build a prototype and secure funding for the brilliant idea. Ghana must move from just talk to execution and production from all not just the government - that's how developed nations progress

Yes thank you. First, built the prototype and let us know the cost of production from plastic so we compare with the conventional one

EVENTS IN GHANA SINCE 1957 HAVE NEVER SUNK IN THE PSYCHE OF GHANA'S LEADERS, AND CERTAINLY HAVE NEVER TAUGHT THEM THE NEED FOR A "GHANA FIRST" FOR THE GOOD OF THEMSELVES AND OTHER 35 MILLION GHANAIANS.
GHANA IS A VERY SMALL OVERLY ENDOWED NATION WHICH SHOULD NEVER BE GOING THROUGH ALL THESE FUCKING CYCLES OF HOPELESSNESS, BUT WHAT DO WE SEE?
A SUCCESSION OF CLUELESS THIEVING IRRESPONSIBLE CALLOUS LEADERSHIP, PERIOD! EXTREMELY SAD INDEED!
GHANA'S BOGUS LEADERS THINK ONLY OF THEMSELVES, FAMILY MEMBERS AND THEIR SIDEKICK GIRLFRIENDS WHO "OPEN UP" FOR THEM, PERIOD.
GHANA IS FINISHED AS A COUNTRY. THE LEADERS ARE ALL THIEVING VISIONLESS CAREFREE STIFFNECKED MUMUS!
THE WEALTHY TAX-FREE LOANS-FREE GULF ARABS WOULD BE HAVING A GOOD LAUGH AT BACKWARD GHANA AND ITS CLUELESS LEADERS.

Also Prof, please, help spread the message of " Ban on Occultic and Doom Prophecies" in Ghana, since it is a canker that retards Education, Banking and Finance, Administration, Criminal Investigations, Peace Building and Development. Since most of such Fake Prophets were mostly truants, drug addicts and school dropouts and using their quack means of putting fear and panic on the citizenry to make a living

Those young men and women have taken it upon themselves to rid our cities of filth - and plastic. Can we not set up a system to reward them for the plastic waste they remove from our gutters and drains? And Suame, Kantanka, KNUST, Gratis - you mean you cannot take a prototype of a waste conversion machine and build one with our local materials? And local government, how about setting up a plastic bottle return system, or establishing a rubbish separation system with incentives and fines? It has been done elsewhere in Africa, it can surely be done in Ghana. Or?

But where in the world is plastic waste contributing to even 1% of its fuel requirement? Is this not the usual theory? Can it be done on commercial scale?

We are producing oil in the country and you are talking about oil from waste. This mad professors should give us a break. They are at the universities teaching useless things. Let him produce one bottle of oil from waste to power his own car. Is he not taking fuel allowance. Stomach journalists who abound these days will not ask intelligent questions just expecting white envelopes to publish this nonsense.

The great professor has proved the needed principles in attaining this enviable feat of Professor in his field. Government can now invest in the technology for further improvement and upscaling for commercial use. On the other hand, the private sector can take over. If the Professor is interested in commercialising for personal financial gains, he can seek private partnership for the upscaling. Congratulations, Professor Dankwah
