As we collectively pay tribute to our gallant fallen heroes lets remember to be tolerant in politics. Avoid revenge, incrìminations, vengeance, contract killings, political vindictiveness,. We can erect statues of the Takoradi men at the space where the former president's statute was vandalised to remind the nation of the danger of political thuggery during main and bye elections even after victories. A lesson to the NPP that should they come to power not by thiggery, intimidation, terrorising people, instilling fear but by honest win they should not pursue political opponents, abandon projects initiated by their predecessors thereby causing financial loss to the state and suffocating the very people who brought them to power. The current NDC should learn and desist from towing the same lines for political equalization. The statute at the Sekondi Roundabout will remind all that death is inevitable for all mankind and Pastors who prophesy falsely. Anyway do you know that any of the victims will be smiling in heaven if at point of realising the emminence of death he openly cried unto God through Christ for the salvation of his soul and said a short prayer of repentance from all known sin, then he has been saved and enjoying in heaven while we mortals are still fighting over money and politics. The Bible says in Romans 10:13 that whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. The dying thief received instantaneous pardon from our Lord and saviour Jesus Christ and went into paradise with him. In Luke 13 vrs 1-5 it is not how one died but Christ's empahasis is on repenting from sin otherwise one will likewise perish. Christ gave the example of people who Pilate killed in a gruesome manner and mingled their blood with sacrifice, and the 18 who sought refuge under a tower in the Old Testament but lost their lives when stones were rolled from the upper terrace and killed them instantly. Christ emphasised that manner of their death withstanding each and every one should concerned saving his life from perishing into eternal agony. Friend lets consider our dreadful end without faith in Christ.
