And slander is not a crime so Appiah Stadium shouldn't have been arrested. The remedy was for the President to sue for defamation as an individual if he so pleased. But the latest comments of the NPP activists rise to the level of threats. Of course, the people involved clearly do not have the capacity to carry out the threat and the comments constitute nothing more tasteless partisan banter. Kevin Taylor has threatened to decapitate the heads of certain chiefs in Ghana. Do the security agencies take his comments as serious threats and what are they going to do about it?
