Ei, is Tony Aidoo (Correctly named Anthony Adu) who was known to be very verbose at the Sociology Department of the University of Cape Coast still alive?) He was quite disrespectful at UCC and a disrespectful critic of Kwamena Dickson. He was extremely arrogant and used pungent vocabularies on Dickson and Efo Jeremiah John Rawlings. When he learned that the VC Dickson was about to lay him off for non research and publication immediately became a strong supporter of Rawlings. He used his accumulation and knowledge of GRE vocabularies to support and defend Rawlings everywhere with the explanation that IF YOU CANNOT BEAT THEM, YOU BETTER JOIN THEM. It was because of his sudden support for Rawlings at every forum that he was made the Ghana Ambassador to the Netherlands. Hahahaha. For the many years that he was at the UCC, he never published any Books or Research. Hahahaha. He became an ardent supporter of Jeremiah John Rawlings in every sphere. He did not even publish any academic papers or articles. Anyway, he could not academically challenge Professors Garba and Amenume who were Academic Giants. He was just a disgrace struggling with students over Fufu at Ante Mansah’s Chop Bar. TWEAA, he was a big disgrace unto himself, a Chain Smoker and an Apio Alcoholic Drinker. TWEAA, he was not the least respected even among students and the people of APEWOSIKA town. Let him come and deny my assertions and just mention only one of his publications and achievements as a Lecturer at the University and the Department of Sociology.
Let me conclude by saying that he did not achieve anything that was academically substantial. I can substantiate what I am saying about him. I remember him with his very old Green Colored Volvo Vehicle.
