Nana Osei Tutu the first wasn’t the first Asantehene . He was the 5th. The first were two people by names Twum ne Antwi, second was Nana Kobia Amanfi, third was Nana Oti Akenteng and the fourth was Nana Obiri Yeboah.

It was after the death of Obiri Ye oah and Osei Tutu 1 becoming king of Kwaman that Okomfo Anokye convinced tall the paramoncies to come together to form Asante. It was there that the great golden stool came about and Osei Tutu became the first king of the new confederation called Asante. Therefore he was the 1st king of the Asante Kingdom.

Woaaw, the first Queen Mother Reign started in 1701, almost the same time the Mamprusis started chieftaincy in Bawku (1721). And because of politics and economic with the truth, some people are demanding the Mamprusis should terminate their chieftaincy institution in Bawku in favour of someone whose grandfather/father was being taken care of by the Mamprusis in Bawku and even have no Royal Lineage. Falsehood can only disturb Truth but can never defeat it. May God bring peace to Bawku.
