Prophesies are not statistical data to be sorted or filtered, because the genuine ones are spiritual insights given to only people spiritually gifted by God and not necessarily a politically appointed person or some people affiliated with authority or have some special reputations or even prophetic experience. I saw flood and fire in Accra market which took place within a week at Nkrumah Circle and burnt people into ashes, when I did not see myself as a prophet at that time. I spoke about it with the woman I shared bed with, be she also snubbed me even after I had prophesied about a plot to destroy her own uncle which came to pass. In 2025, when nations have ben to the moon and beyond, a helicopter crashes and the response from the government is an ecumenical directive to filter prophecies? What happened to simple straight forward and obvious analysis about the causes of this tragedy? Galamsey! In 2024, we were up in arms, pushing the government to declare a state of emergency to stop the pillaging of the environment. Excellent! Many of us joined the protest because we thought what was happening to our land was terrible. Now the NDC comes to power and suddenly proclaims that there's no need for a state of emergency to be declared? And the Lands minister boldly tell us that the fight against galamsey is not a sprint but a leisurely marathon? Is the fight not a super-sprint? At the rate at which our lands are being permanently destroyed, will there be anything left by the end of your leisurely marathon?
Too bad that the Lands Minister was not on board the ill fated flight. We don't need reckless ministers like him. May the Lord grant the souls of the airforce personnel (who died so needlessly) eternal rest. And may He have mercy on those politicians who are responsible for our pitiful state of existence! Surely, this is not what I voted for!
