Yes, there are unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs) and drones used for reconnaissance and surveillance, which are remotely operated. However, these should not be confused with manned aircrafts flown by trained pilots. Also, it's important not to confuse remote control with autopilot systems. Autopilot assists pilots by maintaining altitude, speed, and heading, allowing them to focus on other critical aspects of flight. It does not replace the pilot or make the aircraft remotely controllable.
