Ali Jarah was recently complaining about total neglect. I remember very well in 1994, late ET Mensah & NDC promised the whole world that they would take good care of him. What happened after all these yrs ?

Accident victims traveling on official assignments must be covered or are covered by accident insurance. If the Ghana MoD has that in place, that would be the appropriate compensation. Ghanaian leaders and lawmakers must learn how to make appropriate statements. What this guy is saying appears to indicate that there is no accident insurance policy in place. Well, maybe so but if that is true why wouldn’t be any insurance policy for the traveling personnel? Ghana is not a village setting where everything is done by calling people into some corner and cutting or negotiating a deal.

I know for certain that government vehicles are not insured. I wouldn't be surprised if MoD aircrafts are also not insured.
