Does the consolation make sense, no. There is no need for John Mahama to relaunch a program that is already in place, and the funny thing is, when Mahama was president right after Mills died, he never thought of anything like "Community Mining Program" till Nana and NPP came to power and launch the program.

Mahama sent these people to their untimely death because, he cannot think deep enough, and the best he does is to "COPY" what other have done, and this is the end result.

If you admire Mahama, just ask yourself this simple question that does it make sense to relaunch a program that is already in place and that is what these departed souls were going to do at Obuasi when the inevitable happened.

Mahama if you are a normal human, use your brain and stop the "COPY, COPY".
