  State of emergency should be declared straight away on Galamsey, all should come to Agona Kwanyako OR Mankrong Nkeanta and it's environs and see the reple effect on the RIVER AYENSU which serves a lot of people all the way from Asamankese area. It's sad Government is being very slow on this fight. Government Do Something Now

  NDC in opposition was forcing Nana Addo then the president to declare "State of Emergency" on galamsey so, why can't they do it now, that they are in power?
  
  Don't tell me the deceased were gallant servants on a mission to address illegal mining. If you are a journalist with deep knowledge about galamsey, you should not use the word gallant on any NDC member because it was under their tenure that galamsey became international in Ghana which they did absolutely nothing to address it.
  
  Also, what are the two gentlemen going to Obuasi a town NDC ignored till NPP came to the rescue? Nana Addo had already put in place a "Community Mining Program" which NDC should have continued rather, they choose to launch similar program due to our dirty politics, and this is the end result, the loss of eight Ghanaians which I think sit well with John Mahama.
