    Remittances have dropped because people are not satisfied with the prevailing exchange rate which leads to at least 30% loss of cedis to the sender and receiver.

    Bag of rice went from G120 to G80.
    Container of oil went from G940 to G600.

    Cement prices stayed the same. We have plans to build 40 houses/ condos, but I won't invest a cedi into building until cement prices drop.
