For instance, in human rights law silence is consent but in Financial law silence is not consent. Now, My friend, you don't know what you are saying. I don't blame you because this is a technical area that political communicators couldn't explain to you but but took advantage of it to misinform you. Look, banks deal with standards which are called financial ratios and if an entity falls below that ratio, it is supposed to file for bankruptcy. It happened before 2016 and the then NDC government injected liquidity into those banks which was equally squandered So if a new government decides not to pump any more money into those banks, whom do you blame.

One can not help but to come to the same conclusion that the revocation of Unibank licence was uncalled for. I edge all and sundry to watch the program on YouTube. The 64 million dollar question is why did NPP not prosecuted the case to it's logical conclusion? The answer lies in the opinion authored by then deputy attorney General who later became the substantive AG. Godfred Dame. According to deputy Ag, the esterblishment of CGB was unconstitutional. Unibank licence was revoked on 1s of August, CGB was esterblishedon the next day 2nd August without banking licence. Secondly, before a licence is withdrawn from any bank, the shareholders are given the chance to inject new cash into the bank. If that fails, new shareholders are brought in. If that also fails, the government step in, buy the majority shares and then take over the leadership of the bank until the bank finds it feet again. If NPP had adhere to the banking rules,Unibank and GM bank belonging to Pakwasi Ndum couldn't have gone under. Isn't it intriguing that with the judiciary virtual at the berk and call of the NPP, NPP could not prosecute Pakwasi Ndum and Dr. Kwamena Duffour.

When anyone is involved in any case, what we usually do is to link the person to a group; example political party, ethnicity, football team, etc. If someone kills someone, it is murder, why should we care whether the culprit is a Kusasi or Mamprusi? Once the person is linked to a group then it becomes difficult to deal with the case. Duffour is an individual, why link him to the NDC? Ghana is full of educated fools.
