The right thing was probably for the VIP to stay stationery, which would have offered the truck driver room to maneuver to avoid collision.

Almost every vehicle accident on our roads are attributed to Brake failure. Do our Drivers go for Road fitness work on their vehicles periodically? It is a shame. I think our Transport Unions and the Ministry of Transportation should make all Commercial Vehicles and Big Trucks undergo weekly Brake checks at very recognized and well supervised centers under Video Surveillance before they are allowed on our roads. Accidents attributed to Brake Failures are just too much. Such Brake Testing Facilities should be well monitored and supervised. It is just becoming too much.

About 90% of our commercial vehicles don't visit the DVLA yet all of them have valid roadworthy certification. Where do they get the stickers? Strangely and foolishly, those working at the DVLA who issue these dubious stickers also use the same roads these rickety vehicles use; they are not spared death on our dangerous road. DVLA staff are by their actions committing suicide on our roads. If you do good, you do for yourself!

Another stupidity on our road. Don't they have horns in the cargo truck and the VVIP bus which they can use to alert each other? Furthermore, does both vehicles lack rearview mirror?

There are better used cargo trucks we can send to Ghana but the government would rather keep these death traps on tge road for reasons known to them.
