Dear Governor, we appreciate your efforts to bring sanity in the financial sector. My worry is the customers' locked up funds which they cannot access to keep life going. For eight years these funds have been locked up and no solutions on the part of the government been reached.Now that you are shifting the payment to next year how do you want the affected customers to cope with life in this country when the economy is very hard.We were assured in the first budget read by the Finance Minister in February that there will be payment in that regard.Now you are telling us that no provision have been made for that in the mid-year budget.It is a big disappointment and you have shattered the hopes of the affected customers.

My friend, you don't know what you are saying. I don't blame you because this is a technical area that political communicators couldn't explain to you but but took advantage of it to misinform you. Look, banks deal with standards which are called financial ratios and if an entity falls below that ratio, it is supposed to file for bankruptcy. It happened before 2016 and the then NDC government injected liquidity into those banks which was equally squandered So if a new government decides not to pump any more money into those banks, whom do you blame.
