The colonial administrative arrangement that put the Kusasi under the Mamprussi kingdom was for the convenience of the British. It was part of the infamous indirect rule that caused them to add all acephalous tribes to centralised traditional authorities like Mamprugu.
The British left in 1957, and you want to perpetuate their administrative arrangements? Then Mamprugu should be ruled from London!

Even assuming without accepting that the Mamprussi defeated the Kusasi in some fictional battle decades ago, does it mean that they should continue to rule them, after independence, when the Kusasi have made it abundantly clear that they reject Mamprugu rule? Can the Ashanti return to rule the fante, because somewhere in the distant past they defeated them in battle?

There has been a recognised, gazetted and Supreme Court-backed Chief in Bawku over the last 40 years; suddenly, under the political cover of the NPP, with a Mamprussi as Vice President, a fake "chief" is enskinned in Nalerigu, and surreptitiously transported to Bawku, with NPP cover, and all hell breaks loose.
The solution is simple; that illegal, fake pretender must be forcefully removed from Bawku. He is an imposter and a threat to peace in Bawku. The Bawku chieftaincy dispute was settled in court decades ago.
Government must pronounce, reiterate and reinforce the law and deal firmly with law breakers...SHIKENA!!!

But the government of the forcefully enforced a curfew with a well prepared armed forces to.go and brutalise the good people of Nalerigu, very sad as if Mamprugu is a target . Even during the revolutionary era we didn't face such a harder and harsher curfew like this one , from 2pm to the following morning 6 am not this twenty- first century..It's like the fundamental human rights of Mamprugu is violated and this matter should be investigated thoroughly.

Since the Kusasi’s traditional have a leader to rule them the Mamprusi have no business having a chief in Bawku, The Nayiri has no authority over Bawku. The same way the British were asked to leave Ghana that’s the same way the Mamprusi should leave Bawku period.
