  A poor strategy. What is the military trying to achieve in Bawku? The government should withdraw the military forces and allow the two factions to fight. The presence of the Armed forces is emboldening a faction to remain recalcitrant because they feel protected. Allow them to fight, and the vanquished will beg for a ceasefire. They will then be asked to sign an undertaking never to resort to conflict. When a weakling in a fight is protected by a stronger person, he hardly gives up the fight. This is how the Bawku conflict has become. The conflict is spreading and can engulf the entire country.. Redeploy the troops outside Bawku in Nakpanduri and Bolgatanga. One side will surrender, and the conflict is solved. Israel attacked Iran because it was sure of American protection. After 12 days when they realized that Trump was not going to fight in a full war against Iran, they quickly asked for a ceasefire because Iran was devastating them. That war has ended.
  
  With the war in Gaza, Israel has resisted every effort to end the war because America was backing them. Once again, Israel has seen that Trump is unconcerned, and they are losing more soldiers and support. They have started their own ceasefire in Gaza and allowing food and medicines to go in. There will always be casualties in every war, but the vanquished will surrender and bring proper finality to the war.
