  I disagree with you hon. A careful examination and reflection reveals that chieftaincy disputes are never resolved, no matter the efforts and solutions found for them. The very reasons they arose comes back again and again, after settlements. That's the case whether courts rulings, or through settlements by the National House of Chiefs. Visit areas where such matters are purported to have been settled to find out whether the parties respect that. You'll be surprised to see that suspicions, discrimination, tagging, name calling and preparation to visit the past still persist.
  In my opinion, the government should spend funds to nib emerging ones and conducts that will give rise to them in the bud, build a strong opinion against attitudes and conduct that bring them about as well as calling and enforcing peace in the troubled areas affected by chieftaincy disputes, and then give the National Peace Council the support and bigger role to lead the reconciliation role and healing processes among the waring factions.

  This is nonsense. The Government should make money available for settlements of Chieftaincy Dis? This is a horrible and terrible assertion. And is he an Attorney? Hmm. Trouble in Ghana.

  Mr. Ayiko Otto the timing of your request is so so wrong, so sad, and insensitive to plight of the average Ghanaian. If these chiefs can’t see the problems the citizens face then they need to be replaced by Chiefs who sympathizes with their fellow citizens.
