Such atrocities started at the time of Efo Jeremiah John Rawlings when Guns, especially Assault Rifles went to wrong hands. From the time of Nkrumah to General Akuffo, such crimes did not take place. Crimes with Assault Rifles started and intensified when Efo Jeremiah seized Power with his hoodlums. Yes, we saw even PDC and CDR disgruntled hooligans bearing Assault Rifles at Public places. Unfortunately, many of them had not been trained to handle such Guns. Others used them to show their superiority and relevance in office and authority.
