Can you blame him? Once upon a time, a certain Scottish was president of Ghana. No foreign should be allowed to be ambassador for Ghana. We should enforce the birth citizenship role for sensitive positions otherwise we are all at risk.

Kojo Choi is a Korean by birth, yes, but he’s also a Ghanaian citizen by choice. His father immigrated to Ghana as a Christian missionary and Kojo attended the SOS Primary and JSS School in the SOS Village. From there he passed the Entrance Exam into the SOS Hermann Gmeiner International College when I was Principal and I can testify to his abilities, his character and ethical values as well as his hard work and dedication. When he graduated from the school, he deliberately chose to go to the University of Ghana rather than to university in the USA, because he said he wanted to make his life in Ghana. He has built multiple successful businesses in Ghana and is a more committed Ghanaian than many I know. President Mahama could not have picked a better candidate to represent us in South Korea, and I wish him Godspeed and every success in his new role.
