Good to hear some of the projects were 70% complete. The NPP did some work after all.

Where is our share of the national cake in the okwahu side of the Afram plains? This is where most of our food and livestock comes from and yet our roads are worst amongst all the roads in this country called Ghana. The government wants to keep the youth in the rural areas but failing to invest in infrastructure that will benefit rural folks. We need a bridge over Afram lake/river. We need a class of standard infrastructure road from Kwahu Tafo all the way to Donkorkrom and Asante Akyem Agogo. These are the places that the new breed of diaspora are investing their money for the nation building . The chief of staff in this administration has already failed the Kwahu people. Akufu Addo ( Kwaku Bonsam) and Bawulair government promised, they failed . This project was in the manifesto but they have ignored us again.

These are going to be captured under the ROADS FUND Programme. Those mentioned are covered by foreign payment components or loans. The minister explained this on another news network.

The Voltarians especially in Hohoe and Kpandu, Jasikan and its environs should stand up and warn NDC . They cannot continue fooling VR. Volta region needs the Eastern corridor roads to boost its Economy and uplift the Region.
This time around VR will show Mahatma and NDC their level. Long live Togbe Afede, Long live VR.

Master you are writing nonsense comment, am from the Oti region and i mostly spend my holidays in Hohoe, the Volta region and Oti region will not be forgotten after all the NDC government do give alot more development to other regions as compared to the Volta region but acknowledge that's Volta region and Oti region is a far longer distance between Denu-Kata all the way to Hohoe and from Santro-kofi to the Oti river to the northern part of the region is really over 400km so road network and other major social amenities trust me Volta region and Oti region has much to be thankful for. Hopefully the leadership of bother region have the right to demand good development from the NDC government but not to comment your self as if nothing at all hasn't taken place in both region since 2008. I am looking forward for another Adome bridge over the Danbui side of the Volta river. When it comes to Education and medical facilitaties both region has standard facilities yet it is about time like the health facilities need renovations and improvement of all the healthcare facilities as well as treatment for potable drinking water. Electric City as extender to most part of both region since 1992 and both regions has the most electricity coverage than some regions in Ghana.

These projects prioritizations always create problems and more questions than answers. Many localities have projects that are important to them and their livelihoods. Yes, all projects cannot be tackled at once due limited government funding. So what’s the answer to questions like … what about Boankra Inland Port, dam construction in the north to mitigate flooding, developing Afram plains farm lands, giving tax incentives to estate developers to tear down mud and dilapidated villages and build affordable housing and infrastructure, like Apieti new township? Projects prioritization are good but it’s always a double edged sword’. Just saying…. ‘what are you going to do?’

This was the way NDC 1 during President Mahama started shifting focus from the Eastern Corridor Road until the party lost power.
Are you not ashamed that the Party left Hohoe economically dead because of the worst road ever?
What was the state of the Hohoe Jasikan road? Were you not terribly ashamed?
NDC 2 have started shifting development to places that have historically voted against this party and you say what? The People of the Volta and Oti must start talking now before the powerful lobbyists take developments from the people who have stayed loyal to the NDC.
Have wondered WHY the Shortest route to the North has ALWAYS been neglected by a President who is a Northerner?
If we are truthful to ourselves the Eastern Corridor Road must have been completed by now because the huge economic benefits it holds to the Upper East, North East, The North, Savannah, Oti, Volta, Eastern and the Greater Accra Regions.
Why won't they concentrate on this stretch instead of building township roads. Why can't the trunk roads be concentrated on instead the construction of huge expensive interchanges in the cities?
What about the bypass roads on the Accra -Kumasi highway? Are they not priority projects?
