As I'm familiar with Raphael Armattoe's story, I suddenly was taken aback when I read that he hailed from Palime, Togo. Really? What at aaaalll is soo soo enviable about the Ghanaian Eve that people try very hard to dim our light? Dr Raphael Armattoe was born and hails from Keta in the Volta region. Any links of him with Togo could only be with our ancestors who trekked on the long sojourn from Mesopotamia through Abyssinia, Ile Ife, then Nortsie all the way to our present Volta. What kind of envy and hatred is this? Distortion to misinform the people. Oh shaaaaaaame. Even Wikipedia and Google state that he hails from Keta. There are other great Anlos besides Armattoe, like Francis Awoonor-Williams who was consulted by Paa Grant to form the ugcc before JB Danquah and the others, yet, this giant politician is omitted from the big 6. All in all, we feel proud to be a target of envy because it is only the ripest fruit on the tree that attracts the stones being thrown. The other unattractive and unripe fruits are always ignored. We love it. Keep hating and envying.

Please if Dr Armattoe didn't come from French Togoland why was he going to the United Nations to make the case for the unification of British Togoland with French Togoland? ( Gold Coast Colony Ewes , Komla Agbeli Gbedema, Gbeho etc were in favour of integration of British Togoland with the Gold Gold Coast. )
