  The NDC Ministers need Hydrogen and Solar cars.
  80% of all the solar cars tested caught fire.

  This solar/EV push risks worsening our core challenge: maintaining stable grid electricity. Introducing significant new EV charging demand directly strains our already overloaded hydro plants, the very grid we struggle to stabilise. While solar rooftops help, their intermittency means EVs often charge from the grid anyway, creating a clear paradox: these "green" solutions largely depend on, and increase load on, conventional hydro power we can't reliably supply. Prioritising this expansion before securing grid resilience seems premature.
  
  1. EVs add major new demand to an unstable grid.
  
  2. Both solar (when not producing) and EVs primarily charge from the existing grid (hydro-dominated).
  
  3. Promoting "green" solar/EVs currently means more reliance on the strained hydro system.
  
  4. Solar can't consistently power EVs without robust storage, forcing grid reliance.
