I ask you will the white man and woman accept you black monkey money to betray their country? The ANSWER IS OBVIOUS-NO. We BLACKS people are unpatriotic and very selfish. The WHITEMAN see us as the followers of their STUPID culture. Look at China and India, they stick to their culture and language in their schools and education system and they have made it. Dr Kwame Nkrumah also did so much for the north as well interms of education:
Ghana College, Tamale, Government secondary school, Tamale, Bawku, Yendi, Lawra, Wa, Nalerigu Damongo secondary schools etc.. You are right Kwame Nkrumah was a visionary leader. He did all this in less than 9years.
What a big loss he has been to the nation!!! His compulsory policy of education for all children gave some of us especially from the north the opportunity to go to school. Otherwise my father had no clue about education and didn’t see the need for his children to go to school.
May GOD ALMIGHTY give him wisdom , anchor and victory to be able to do this again with sustained efforts.
Don't forget Acherensua Secondary School (Achisco) which was the only secondary school in Ahafo until 1970 when Busia converted Hwidiem and Mim Training Colleges to secondary schools. And other schools like Yaa Asantewah Secondary School, Konongo Odumasi Secondary School, and many more. You can easily identify the schools by the similar buildings, which were constructed under the Education Trust Fund. Nkrumah was selfless, and a visioneer. Up to the present, nobody has come out to accuse him of corruption or kalabule. He left no mansion or assets. Akuffo Addo family and the Akyem traitors are thieves, and with fake British vocal accents.

How much did the British leave for Ghana at Independence? Because of Nkrumah’s extravagant and ambitious expenditure, Ghana was almost bankrupt when he was booted out of office. How much did he spend on Guinea, Zimbabwe, and the other many African countries that were fighting for independence. Yes, Ghana was broke when he was kicked out of office. How many African countries were able to help Ghana when things became tough for us? No country. Yes that shows how dumb and stupid some of his policies were.

Karikari, you better stop exposing your blatant ignorance about what Nkrumah inherited from our coloniser, the UK. The UK left the Gold Coast only 250 million pounds after over hundred years of pillaging our resources. The UK left the Gold Coast a totally under-developed nation - no good roads , a handful of hospitals ,a poorly educated population, lack of good drinking water ,electricity, etc, etc. I invite you to cost the numerous development projects of Nkrumah against the money the UK left behind and your ignorance and misinformation will be exposed to yourself and Ghanaians. The number of Secondary schools established by Nkrumah and the Tema port and township cost more than the 250 million pounds our colonial master, the UK left behind. The UK was only interested in pillaging our resources and not the development of the Gold Coast. Only the enemies of Nkrumah like you see Nkrumah as a person who misappropriated the paltry 250 million pounds left to Nkrumah to finance the development of Ghana.Ask yourself this question 'Who has done more for Ghana in terms of its development?' Only the dishonest person will overlook Nkrumah.

What about when such appointees need to fuel their vehicles for OFFICIAL DUTIES? John, please hasten slowly because there are some spheres where appointees can’t use their own money to fuel their vehicles for officials duties. Pretty soon, such appointees would be demanding money from the people they should serve before they undertake official duties on their behalf..
I worked in Ghana for many years and know that our transportation system is not the best and are irregular. Just imagine an appointee traveling from Nkwanta, Dumbai, Tatale, Enchi coming to Accra to transact business for some workers at Accra. Should such appointees buy fuel in their vehicles for such assignments? They are going to demand money for fuel from the people they are supposed to be helping.
With our bad roads and unreliable transportation systems, is the President ready to pay the Hotel bills if such appointees have to spend a day or two at the Regional and National capital for such assignments? Mr. President, we know that there are loopholes in the Government fuel allowance system but the Government needs to monitor them than to just cancel them.

@Game Changer. I can not agree with you more. Some of these benefits are just a way of looting the state. Why should someone (after they have received their full monthly salary) get a fuel allowance to drive their private cars around, an allowance to buy clothes, employ a gardener in their house, etc. etc. What nonsense is this? There is a lot of clean up to be done in Ghana.

Totally agree. They sit in their air conditioned offices do nothing but collect books and books of fuel vouchers and give to friends , family and side chicks. Its about time. They have a free government vehicle that reads the mileage done but no one accounts or vets their fuel vouchers against mileage done on their vehicles. Mps are worst offenders. Most of them use the vouchers to fuel their generators at home and on galamsey sites.plus fueling excavators.

Allowances, facilities, expenditures have intentions and purposes
First and foremost is to ask:
Why were they instituted
How much is involved
Are there alternatives
Do we expect less informed individuals to be handling affairs of State
Should we expect government officials to commute from their pockets to perform duty
When allowances and expenditures are determined to be excessive, by all means, reduce them but do not cancel

But where are we now? Ghana is a FAILED STATE. That was why in 2024 Ghana went to the IMF and the World Bank Cup in hand to beg for a bailout. What did we receive in return for betraying our country. African children are dying in their thousands in the Mediterranean sea. Bye bye you BLACK PEOPLE ARE THEIR OWN DOWNFALL-BLACKS HATE EACH OTHER. The white man or woman will NEVER betray thair COUNTRIES to you the BLACK MONEY. But we took their money and AFRICAN CHILDREN ARE DYING IN THEIT THOUSANDS IN THE MEDITERRENEAN SEA TO REACH EUROPE-ITALY AND SPAIN

What is required is a deeper and structured surgery of public sector conditions of service, including government agencies, SOEs and institutions like the BoG and COCOBOD. The President has once in a lifetime opportunity to carry that out. Public service should be well paid but not an avenue for personal enrichment.
