The MP should back off else the new contingent that will come will even be worse in dealing with the people if they misbehave again. This is a clear case of unnecessary provocation on the military and you the MP want them to be cowards ? No the military were not trained to be cowards and they will do worse if the people don’t learn and behave appropriately.

The MP should rather be aiming to restrain his unruly and indisciplined youth who until now have been getting away with shooting dead innocent travellers including women and children. THESE TERRORISTS ( AND THAT IS WHAT THEY NOW ARE) NEED TO REMEMBER THAT BULLETS CAN ALSO FLY IN THE OPPOSITE DIRECTION (TOWARDS THEM) AND THIS TIME THEY WILL BE DEALING WITH FOLK WHO HAVE VASTLY SUPERIOR WEAPONRY AND AMMUNITION AND ALL THE POWER OF THE STATE TO BACK THEM.
I think that the military actually showed enormous restraint here in the face of great provocation.

1. The beneficiaries of the conflict are the politicians.
2. The Political Party that has the Kusasi on its side gets the majority....Kusasi have the numbers.
Until the Kusasi and the Mamprusi decide to live together as they used to be before CPP UGCC PP UP PFP PNP PNC NPP NDC came to sow the seeds of discord, the conflict shall continue to rage on while the Political Parties pretend to help. (Keep off: NDC NPP)

I edge opinion leaders and sane minds in and around the upper East Region to roundly condemn this unfortunate impunity from the military. President Mahama is too weak a leader for Ghana, you promised the people to halt the conflict when elected and they overwhelmingly voted for you and your ndc only to be stabbed in the back. We're not in a colonial rule and the mamprusis should stop thinking they can colonize a whole ethnic (kusaasis) group on their own soil in the 21st century. Let's give peace a chance
