Think before you speak Martin kpebu, the government who sponsored criminals to cause elections violence will allow the police to wear body cameras? you talk as if you're not in Ghana. The police always take instructions from their commanders so they can easily arrest the criminals without body cameras .

Another ploy to deceive the NPP. They will say this and the NPP will relax. Before the NPP wil know, they have already mobilised the NDC thugs to unleash mayhem at the collation centers.

Martin Kpebu is a citizen who makes enough money always running his mouth about every issue. He can supply the Ghana Police with BODYCAMS! They won't turn it down. We will all want DRONES at all these events, but the Police Service cannot afford them now so these after game talks should take a back burner. How about Martin Akpebu spending half of the time he spends now on TV, doing some Civic Education against VIOLENCE!

As much as I agree with Mr Kpebu regarding body cams for the police, I think our journalists in the interim should have the journalistic freedom to capture all police interactions with civilians which must be backed by law until the ministry of interior is able to provide the police with body cams. There should be a law in the books against police brutality against journalists.

Police Body Camera's have their place in law enforcement, but not in this situation. The Police simply had to do their jobs by arresting the violent perpetrators on the spot, especially when the Police were right there watching as spectators. In riot situations Body Camera's are almost useless, what's effective is some Police officers coming prepared with surveillance video cameras to fully document the riots and to make additional arrests.
