Yesterday, at one instance, a police officer who was trying to instruct a journalist to move away from the ballot space, slapped the journalist, you were happy that the police officer was interdicted there and then. However, on many occasions many officers stood by why inactive, because they would not engage and become victims. Please, how can the police keep law and order if we fail to empower them. Sometimes, the police must exert force. GJA has remained silent on Afenyo Markin's assault on the police but are forcefully demanding the interdiction of this policeman. We need a balance.
