If this is to the determination and spirit of a team, to do well at the Continental Level, that support at all levels should be coming from the govt. Not an individual who is also the Sports Minister. His donation is secondary and should not be made to take the highlight hence talks of favoritism. Official positions and titles go with matured and calculated acts so as not to leave anyone feeling left behind. If Kofi Adams had done this when he wasn't the Minister of Sports, nobody would have raised a finger.
