Is this the first time such a constitutional review committee has been set up? Our problem in Ghana is the "Posture of the educated ones". They have the utmost believe that the country is for them and can act with impunity without questions being asked. That is my observation.

If this had been done a year ago, people would have questioned why it is starting in the Eastern Region.

No party should be declared a winner until they have won 9 out of the 16 regions in Ghana. Alternatively, we should have a proportional electrol system or the United States electoral system. The current system of winning election with 50%+1 is very unjust because a party can just concentrate on 2-3 densely populated regions and take home the victory.

So you want elections to be won at sparsely populated Regions. Elections are won in numbers.

Modify or abolish the Council of State because it’s a useless or redundant body that’s sucking scarce resources in terms of salaries, V8 vehicles, and ex-gratia payments. Ghana really doesn’t need such a bloated body to suck our resources this way. Another area to tackle is the exploitation of Ghana’s natural resources. No body in Ghana must be empowered to sign contracts if Ghana is to receive less than 50% of the revenue. It’s a ripoff. Leave the natural resources unexploited if the revenue is less than 50%.
