  I am not surprised about these revealations.Ghana is one of the most corrupt countries in the world.Ghost workers,over-invoicing of government contracts and purchases,issuing of false receipts to cover the spending of state monies, payments for government projects not completed etc,etc,etc by public servants .How can the nation progress when such criminal activities are going on against the nation and the criminals go unpunished? The National Thanksgiving and Prayers Day is
  meaningless unless Ghanaians change their destructive and criminal attitudes towards the nation. God doesn't listen to the prayers of unrepentant sinners and Ghanaians are unrepentant sinners. In Ecclesiastes it is written 'Any nation riddled with corruption never progresses'.That is why Ghana isn't progressing. Prayers alone will not change Ghana for the better. It is a change in the attitude of Ghanaians that will do the trick.
