No one wants to attend a conference in a poorly maintained structure. Countries like Rwanda, Zimbabwe, etc. with ultra modern convention centers are attracting global conferences and earning foreign exchange, boosting tourism and creating jobs in the hospitality sector. To those who are advocating for a hospital at the site I say we already have 3 big hospitals in Accra namely : Kolebu, Ridge and the University of Ghana Medical Centre. The problem is that these hospitals are poorly equipped (which was evident when the Vice President was sick and had to be rushed to England for treatment) and poorly managed. So what we need to do is to tackle these problems and upgrade our hospitals instead of advocating for more new edifices.

It is this national character that distinguishes it from the other Cathedrals in the country. Psalm 9:17, states, "The wicked shall be turned into hell, and all the nations that forget God.". We are replacing this sacred goal with making Ghana an icon of promoting culture and film festivals, theater arts and drama under the auspices of the ACFTA . Was Goozie Tanoh at the payer meeting at the forecourt of Parliament building.We are even giving free money to young adults to pursue tertiary education when we can ask them to take a loan that they can pay back but we cannot honour God with just a cathedral. Ablakwa mixed up the vision, goal of the project with hunger, bread and butter and financial acountability issues. We also heard after investigation and findings the cathedral project will be streamlined.
I pray the consequences will not be upon somebody's head a Judas so to say. May God help us.
