Short hair, go to short hair school. Long hair, go to long hair school. Not a big deal. 5 months ago
Why did he not refuse to wear uniform in GIS for example? Rules are rules. Both girls and boys attending Achimota are expected to keep their hair short. Simple. Congratulations.

Kwasiaman. There is no "short hair" rule in Achimota school. For example, white female students sport long flowing hair. Don't comment about things you don't know. Save your data for sensible usage.

Ghana is very hot and a smelly boy is not something anyone would like to sit by.
I would not have sat next to such a boy in school.
We are poor because our focus is not about making ourselves comfortable and at peace but pointless chasing after accolades established as fun by our White Gods to make them continue their dominance.
Graduated so what.
Michael Essen with little education is more beneficial to Ghana than these boys will ever be if they don't end up in USA or UK. Wasted resources.

I bet you support Africans wear that stupid wig in court because it's a rule left by your colonizer. You may as well be a slave, fool.

How does a kid standing up for his human rights, enduring discrimination, and finishing what he started hurt Ghana?
It doesn't, but your ignorance gave me a headache.

I had a similar experience with my big afro hair while in high school in the mid 70s. The headmaster wanted me to cut down my hair or else he was suspending me from school. I stood my grounds and refused to cut my hair and he finally left me alone. I didn't see how cutting my hair ensured school discipline. I am glad that Nkrabeah didn't agree to cutting his dreadlocks which he wore for religious reasons.
