The proposal for a 24-hour economy is a laudable step toward creating more employment opportunities in Ghana. However, it is important to note that economic growth is not driven by the number of jobs alone, but by productivity and efficiency. Without a change in the mindset and attitude of Ghanaian workers toward discipline, commitment, and service excellence, extending working hours may not yield the desired results.

They're so daft that they don't read and even if they do, they don't understand anything. I don't know why this guys in npp are so dishonest to themselves. Just Google or ask AI to give you data on countries that have gone this path and have experienced economic advancement and first class development. UAE, Australia, US ect.. i know the silly question they'll as is that 'how can you compare these countries to Ghana's? But the fact is that they all started from somewhere, nurtured the policy and now the rest is history. I'm waiting for your comments. Can't we be optimistic for once, must we always think negatively?

Neither will 24 hour of non-productive work days do us any good. When demand of goods calls for 24/7 operations businesses are smart enough to extend operating hours. But when you make a promise to implement 24-hour economy because you want to win power, your own propaganda will catch up with you. No one says 24/7 operations is bad, but businesses doing 24-hours can only be driven by demand; any other way of doing will end in disaster. You can't drive demand by increasing production, it's anti-economics and counterintuitive. Its not even something you incentivize to happen with the 'Speed of light' you guys are thinking of. Its a systematic process that even advance economies around the world are yet to fully attain. Not even an illiterate businessman/woman would spend 24-hours a day making goods or providing service without demand. That's simply insane if you think about it without political lenses. But since you said you can do, I give you the benefit of the unknown.

No one is restricting any business from operating more than 8 hours. If a business has the demand for 24 hour services or products, then I guess they are free to do so.

And for you to be hiding behind that palm wine tree in your village and run your mouth is absurd.
You are contending such practice will turn Ghanaians into factory of machines: really? What research have you done so far on this issue and what is your conclusion that Ghanaians will find themselves enslaved?

You have to tell us which country you reside and how many cities that businesses operate 24-hour. If you will speak the truth, even in economic giants like US, Germany etc, its not common to find supermarkets, shops, and sometimes public transportation, and low demand businesses working 24/7. In the U.S. example shops like hyvee, Walmart tried it and abandoned it shortly because it was not profitable. If you don't know ask google, you don't have to travel there; easy thing to do. Some of us have also traveled before. Even if there are businesses which operate 24/7 anywhere in the world, its because there's high demand. You don't copy blindly. No sane person will produce surplus and employ three shift where there's no demand. Not even the world richest person would do that. Create the demand first to drive production, instead of rushing to commission something which doesn't exist. Is another form form of 'Greenbook' project. So, instead of calling people villagers tell us where you reside. In this digital age, you don't have to travel to a country before you know they operate 24/7. You just need a phone/computer with data.

Sadly people like Osei Akoto and other NDC ANIMALS will always be fooled because their brains are filled with saw dust and cow dung.
