She should have pleaded or consulted someone or a family member on the issue.
But somehow you cannot also blame her too much due to the rise in scammers activities recently.

A few years ago, I received a call from a mortuary to come identify my sister's body after she went missing for several weeks. The caller saw the Missing Person posters we had posted all over town. Even though we knew our sister very well, it was very hard to believe the sight that awaited us at the Morgue. It was the most difficult and horrifying experiences I've ever gone through.
