  What at all will drive a man to beat his own child to the point of this. 14yr old boy and just cuz he misplaced a room key, u have given him something that will remain with him for the rest of his life. Some men are wicked, so imagine his own child look at what he has done to him how much more someone's child. I strongly believe he must face the full punishment of the law but I am most concern about the boy's mental health and physical wellbeing. Proper safeguarding must be taken for his safety.

  Pressures of life can make a man do something abominable to his own child. And the pressures come in different forms and angles. Some may be the Dad's own making, a result of his choices that make things appear to not go well with him, then he vents his frustration on his teenage son who's also trying out his own life.
  External pressures too dey.
  In all, the dad has to be punished for this excessive and brutal act but more importantly, helped to manage his stress better

Do we have an institution in the country where children can turn to for help if they are mishandled at home? Is Ghana adhering to the International Convention of the Child? Why so much violence towards children in Ghana under the pretense of child upbringing? It is high time the Government addres this kind of child abuse in our society.
