Religious extremism was used in your favour in last year's general elections. You heard it loud and clear when a bishop said in his church that your opponent is a muslim so his church members should vote for a christian, meaning you. You have got what you want so you're now preaching peace. All the political hostilities that occurred on the election day and days after were caused by your party members. As at now a constituency election results not declared yet all cos your party members won't allow the EC free hand to do its work. One thing Jesus spoke against the Jews, scribes, teachers of the law etc was about their hypocrisy and it's the same thing we are witnessing in Ghana today. Hypocrites setting a day aside for prayer and thanksgiving and which God will listen to prayers and thanksgiving from deceitful hearts and minds? Not the almighty God but a lesser god. How can God listens to ppl who says if they say it's white say it's black, if they say it's a cow say it's a goat. Money spent on this day could have been used to put up a three classroom block for pupils schooling under trees or in a dilapidated classrooms. God would have been happier if the money spent today had gone to construct school block or to furnish a school where pupils sit or lie on the floor to write. Inasmuch as I hate insults, sometimes our leaders actions and inactions give room to ppl like Twene Jonas to insult our leaders. I'm a christian but I disagree with the event until we start doing the right things to alleviate poverty and hardships which majority of people are facing on daily basis.

Duncan Williams sarcastically said it all that Ghana lacks national development agenda and it was true. Nana Addo came to build national cathedral; Mahama came to build Hajj village. What benefit do the nation derive from getting involved in religion? We really need a national development agenda!
