  Rename and bring back FLAGSTAFF HOUSE as the seat of Government to reassert the reverence, significance, the pride and freedom in our political history and independence as a people with roots, history and meaning.
  “Jubilee House” has no linkage to anything and therefore MEANINGLESS.
  The same goes for “Kotoka” at the Airport. It is condescending and insulting to Ghanaians by implication and expression.

  The Republic Day the 1st of July,1960 was the day that Ghana finally broke free from the chains of colonialism. On that Day the Queen of England ceased to be the Head of state of Ghana and Kwame Nkrumah became the only true elected Head of state of Ghana. Ghana was no more under rule of the Queen of England. Ghana became the Republic of Ghana. We became the masters of our own destiny and to quote Nkrumah 'We preferred self-government with danger to servitude in tranquility'.Ghana as a nation was truly born on that Day and Nkrumah became its first president.
