You need to make local manufacturing more interesting than importing but since independence focus is always to keep traders happy and keep punishing with upside down tax policies that make local manufacturing very very difficult and importation much easier and more profitable. MOF, MOTI and GRA clueless how to support local industries. Only talk talk.......always putting together advisers who have never seen or run an industry before to advise on industry policy.
