  The recent directives from GoldBod are expected to strengthen our cedi, but we need to critically examine certain aspects. The process for obtaining licenses is quite rigorous, making it challenging for many gold buyers to comply with the new requirements. The low number of registered applicants indicates how difficult the registration process has been. Furthermore, the need for EPA and police reports has created opportunities for agencies to exploit individuals, given the urgency of these documents. To improve this situation, we should consider making the process more flexible and decentralizing it.
