  That was good but note that when the British left us, they left enough money in our Treasury. Nkrumah was over ambitious with his nonsensical OAU and spent Ghana’s money lavishly on some African countries with the blind desire to become the President of Africa. Was Nigeria and the Arab countries who do not consider African Arabs as Africans going to agree to that because most Africans are black?
  The writer should have included the many African countries like Guinea that Nkrumah spent Ghana’s money foolishly and lavishly on. Yes, the President for life in Ghana who incarcerated all his Political opponents into the Nsawam Penitentiary without trial. That monster was politically drunk and was responsible for Ghana’s economic woes. By the time he was booted out from office, Ghana had become bankrupt and no country was prepared to do business with Ghana or give us loans.
