Yes, you are replaceable & this should be a relief. Often, we feel the work we do is so unique that without it, the company/industry will fall apart without us. In reality, this is a grand delusion. The reality is that life would go on. You would be replaced at work within a few months. While it can be unnerving that you will always be replaceable, it’s also quite liberating. It frees you & allows you to be aware of what’s really important. Take time & think about this.

I'm not saying it was a bad thing for some of the Africans sampled in the poll that voted Nkrumah as the African of the millennium as they put it, for achieving independence, putting up development projects and wanting to unite Africa, but beyond that many of those who voted him did not know who he was internally. It's just like judging someone outwardly. Apart from being dictator, imprisoning political opponents and meddling in chieftaincy affairs, he also dissipated fortunes in pound sterling left behind by the colonial masters to the extent that, Ghana had to go for IMF programmes. He had his pluses and minuses, and besides he was a politician and that he could not have been allowed to rule forever as if Ghana was his bonafide. Ghana was not in good shape financially by the time he was overthrown from government. So Anokye should not come and talk to us as if it was a bad thing opposing Nkrumah, or even overthrowing him from government when things were getting out of hand.

Now let's go back to the Torkonoo's case. Lawyer Anokye put her behavior in the right perspective; neither did he say because of her uncle(traditionally her other father) being a traitor make her a traitor. He however drew parallelism of her uncle to her present behavior, when she deliberately leaves out the reality of the law and constitution to cast innuendos on the processes through which she might be dismissed. In fact, she has made her situation worse.

What she did in the media space was completely out of line for her position especially when she knows exactly what the law stipulate on this matter.
Most of you are in support of her conduct due to familial lineage, tribal lineage, political lineage and arrogance lineage. Yes! Arrogance is the only reason someone who stood for the clear indication of birth certs to be expunge as a legal proof of citizenship... If not arrogance she should have either taken the advice given to her by some people to resign (because our laws/constitution is designed in such a way that the president can find a way to dismiss a CJ or whoever just like Akuffo Addo did to Charlotte Osei and the former Auditor General).
Amazingly the CJ under discussion supported all that but now due to arrogance think someone is after her head mtcheew!

You see, the UP believes in lie and lie and lie and the lie will be accepted and become true. That is the attitude of the UP as I have come to know and understand. Who told you that they left Nkrumah huge money? why do you think Nkrumah decided to change the currency? That allegation of huge money has been debunked again and again, yet people like you who have sealed your conscience still spread the lie.

The evidence clearly proof that the Brits didn't leave any huge sums of money. Evidence point to the fact that Nkrumah worked hard for monitory mobilization... The British thought they were wise, they use the propaganda that Nkrumah was squandering Ghana's money when they were actually keeping the money while Nkrumah couldn't even touch it. They claim we had the money yet when Nkrumah government asked them to show the huge Ghana money and gold that made the Ghana pounds strong then they kept quiet.

That is the British for you. Nkrumah being wise decided that the only way to show the white man that a black man understand paper money is to also create his own then the Cedi was born (the idea hatched in 1960 and by mid 1965 the cedi was officially launched) then the propaganda of the British that Ghana was left with huge money became evident. This together with Nkrumah's idea of forging bilateral relation with the East (Russia) is what made the western world mad. But as usual, our not too intelligent chiefs were hoodwinked by the UP with another propaganda sponsored by the west that Nkrumah has now been officially a communist just to cover their lies that Ghana had been left with huge money.

There is no point in writing a lot on this matter, as I perceive your level of brainwash is outstanding. Answer this question, why did the Coup makers who claimed Nkrumah was corrupt, communist, and has squandered huge moneys left by the British government decided to burn all government documents that could convict and prove that indeed Nkrumah was reckless?
The answer is obvious:
1. unless the coup makers were completely idiots and deceived to do what they did burning the only documents that will indict the culprit.

2. After wards the coup mongers with their low IQ decided to give away the 4 Ghana nuclear reactors of the atomic energy to the western world ( 2 to the americans and the others to the british). Several years later these foolish UP tradition were now chanting that Ghana needed nuclear energy -- what sort fools would do that.

3. Why instead of keeping the government transactions (which they burnt), they rather went ahead with a new propaganda that he gave out or spent all our money outside then the say he gave our money to Guinea. When in reality, the money he gave to Guinea was strategic, as Nkrumah needed to feed the american hook (valco) with absolutely cheap bauxite for aluminum production...

You see what brainwash has done to you. Can you even understand the third point? No! because the UP mindset like blood, runs in your veins. With the UP you can't reason high level stuff with them. Always shallow minds. You people considers facts and reality being expressed as insult. That coup was going to take place even if Nkrumah had not traveled outside the country, for the CIA had made contingency plans to carry out its diabolical plan against Nkrumah. Those who betrayed Nkrumah were Busia and his henchmen who were clandestinely working with the CIA. A fact that this historian doesn't know is that the CIA's plan was being coordinated by the son of a famous Ghanaian and, to-date, no mention has been public about that man and his betrayal.
