  I agree with you 100%. Absolute waste of time and energy that can be used to dredge the odaw and korle lagoons. Total shambles.

  All a see is excavators and no dump trucks. just adding dump trucks to haul the excavated sand to a prepared site a little bit further away fro the river can solve over 90% of the environmental issues. They have the money and ...

  All a see is excavators and no dump trucks. just adding dump trucks to haul the excavated sand to a prepared site a little bit further away fro the river can solve over 90% of the environmental issues. They have the money and resources to buy dump trucks but lack of wisdom, vision, and plain carelessness from government and enforcement authorities is causing environmental destruction.

  All I see is excavators and no dump trucks. just adding dump trucks to haul the excavated sand to a prepared site a little bit further away from the river can solve over 90% of the environmental issues. They have the money and resources to buy dump trucks but lack of wisdom, vision, and plain carelessness from government and enforcement authorities is causing environmental destruction.

We have a mining university and mines operating in an environmentally sustainable way already. the next step is to document and prepare a simple small-scale mining to do handbook and train technicians and operators and law enforcement officers.

  THESE SHYLOCK MULTINATIONAL COMPANIES HAVE NEVER PROVIDED FUNCTIONAL MODERN INFRASTRUCTURE FACILITIES IN ANY OF THE MINING AREAS, WHICH ARE GHOST TOWNS AND VILLAGES TO THIS DAY. ALSO THEY HAVE NEVER MADE GOOD THE ENVIRONMENTAL OR ECOSYSTEM DAMAGE OF THEIR MINING ACTIVITIES IN THOSE MINING AREAS. ONLY GOD KNOWS WHERE THE ROYALTIES PAID OUT TO GHANA'S LEADERS GO TO.
