I see the whole case as a sham and out of political expediency.
Can anyone petition the Parliament to impeach the president for exercising his authority as the head of the executive branch of government? Unless ilthe actions are ultra vires and criminal in intent.
I know thar thus was a campaign promise to the NDC followers. But it should be noted that the country is a constitutional democracy and all actions should be seen to within the law and also fair.
What is going on, to my mind is a political witch hunt. It should be stopped forthwith and the lady returned honourably to her post as soon as possible.

This woman is always exposing her lack of grasp of the constitution whenever she acts through decisions or speech. Another case in point is her lamentation that her case should be heard in public. Now Thaddeus is schooling her on the fact that the constitution states clearly that article 146 proceedings must be held in camera. This is simple. Why has she got the penchant for side-stepping the constitution and pushing her own understanding of the law? Again, we are reminded of her infamous decision to over-rule the speaker of parliament's decision to declare NDC as majority late in 2024; as for that ruling, I still can't understand how a whole CJ could make such a mistake. Now look at how a lawyer is talking back to you?

At one instance some workers who know that I am not a person who can be corrupted warned that if I happen to come to their strike-demonstration meeting with a staff of their company they will stone me.
I told the Human Resource Manager of the company that I better go on a private transport to Sogakofe where the meeting was being held.
He assured me that he knows his workers well, that they will not stone me.
As we got to the project site at Sogakofe stone chippings were thrown at as we alighted from the HR's vehicle.
The local union chairman shouted that Mr. you are lucky that we don't have big stones here, so take pebbles.
Later we drove to Tema where I joined the national executives of the union.
We arrived at the company's site without any incident and the matter was amicably resolved.
When I wrote a report on the issue I left out the pebble throwing by the workers out of it.
