Next time people will be careful when they are given last minute political jobs as a reward or hedge against an incoming government. They should all go home and fight for jobs like everyone else
Anyone can use technicalities to sack perceived political opponents. Those sacked will simply be replaced by party persons. Gamey goofed. He should address this particular issue and not resort to generalisation

An employer can terminate the appointment of an employee during the probationary period, when the performance of the employee is found to be unsatisfactory.
