1. The early contest will be brutal and further expose the cracks in the NPP. Remember that the NDC used the very words and actions of some leading NPP members to campaign effectively in 2023-24. History will repeat itself with this early presidential primaries. Already the words of people like Dogta Sticker have damaged the image of the NPP. More is to come from now to 2026.
2. We all have strengths and weaknesses and all those currently showing interest in the contest have cobwebs that the NDC will exploit to their advantage between 2026-2028. Trust the like of Sammy Gamfi, Gbandi, and Basintali to do what they do best to keep the NPP spending time to clear the image of their flag bearer instead of campaigning on ideas if the primaries are held in January 2026.
3. The losers in the primaries could (COULD) sabotage the eventual winner by calling on their followers not to support the winner so that a loss in 2028 will pave the way for the former to come on board in the 2032 elections.

As Africans, we often shy away from the truth—not because we don’t know it, but because we fear confronting it. The reality in Ghana is that the people have lost faith in their politicians and their selfish policies that serve only their own interests. That’s why many Ghanaians didn’t come out to vote—because they understood the game. Even the NDC’s votes fell below expectations.

To all politicians: the message of the 2024 elections is loud and clear—change your mindset. If the current ruling party fails to deliver, the next move by the people may not be political—it may be a call for military rule, where everyone is finally equal before the law.

How can politicians loot ECG funds, then turn around and ask struggling citizens to pay higher bills, while the looters live in luxury? Can the NDC boldly claim that none of their MPs benefited from stolen funds since 1992? Let’s not forget that in 2024, someone linked to the NDC was selling a block for 15 GHS meant for an E-Block project, when the market price was only 3 GHS at that time.

Ghanaians are becoming wise. The problem is, many still lack the civic empowerment to fight for their rights. But if the NDC fails to address these foundational issues, the people's eyes will open wider—and their next response will be far more decisive.

Mark my words: four years is just around the corner. May God bless Ghanaians with the wisdom to know and stand for their rights."
