Look at another fool licking the balls of the Ashanti Chief! There is no king in Ghana because we don't have kingdoms and the Ashanti Chief does not represent national unity. Ghana is a unitary state with an executive president who is elected by the people. It also has parliamentarians elected by constituents in their constituencies to represent them in Parliament etc. This old antiquated and anachronistic institution of chieftaincy must be systematically undermined and eventually abolished. It is divisive, breeds tribalism and is a harbinger for war.

I must add that the NPP party is the world evil organization. Whenever, the NPP are in power, they will create conflict and later involved the Asantehene to resolve it and take credit for it. Yanaa head was chopped off in Tamale when Kufour was the president and it was the same asantehene who resolved the dagbon conflict. We thought we were done with the conflict in the north until akufo addo government also reinvigorated the Bawku conflict and they are counting on the same asantehene to resolve it and take the credit again. How dumb can the Ghanaian people be? Judge for yourself!

I heard the King of Eswatini (formerly Swaziland) is coming to Ghana to visit him (the Asantehene). Why should a government allow a foreign head of state to visit a traditional ruler without seeing the political implications of such a visit? Is the Asantehene the only overlord in Ghana? In the early 1990s when Queen Elizabeth of Britain visited Ghana she wanted to visit the Asantehene but the Rawlings Government turned down the request on the grounds that the Asantehene is not the only overlord in Ghana and hence he can not be singled out for a courtesy call. Uplifting the Asantehene above other traditional leaders is bound to create division and tension in the country. The Asantehene is for the Asantes only. Period!!
