It is well overdue. Go ahead and remove all. After that draw up law that sets out where the signs should be placed. Things like the distance between any 2 signs, distance away from roads etc.

There are existing requirements of the Law, we are only enforcing it. The MMDAs are not adhering to it and only take money as IGF and just allow them mount it anywhere. Such MMDAs will equally be sanctioned.

Electronic billboards where companies can buy a slot to have their products advertised would be a much better option. The current billboards makes our cities look clumsy and untidy.

Billbards is a revenue issue as well. District assemblies should take the lead and coordinate road safety

We have met with all MMDAs is Accra a month ago to discuss this. Theh should just adher to the requirements of the Law even on outdoor advertisment as they look at the revenue generation as well.

Thank you for such a brave move. Our city spaces are being overwhelmed by faceless miscreants who have no clue about city planning and aesthetics. The resetting is working. Keep it up NRSA!!!
