  Hmm, corruption at the embassy cannot be explained. Just travel there to renew your Passport and you will be surprised at the open corruption that goes on there. Even if something has to be photocopied for you, you are directed to a particular store where you pay so much but the Photocopy machines will be sitting idle. The same goes on at other Ghanaian Embassies. This shows how corrupt even the staff at our embassies can be.

  Let us hope that the former foreign affairs minister who is now head of the commonwealth nations isnt part of this syndicate. Surprise that as a minister she couldnt see such huge scams going on during her 8 years of office. If investigations find her to have also benefited from this scam.she should be sacked and the laws of commonwealth nations and ghana deal with her. I just hope her hands are clean.

  The problem is that for some of these rural people, who have no understanding of personal moral decency and how a modern society works, any fair or foul means in acquiring wealth, is legitimate. That is why for them, apprehending the thieves in govt who have caused so much misery in this country is an incomprehensible.
