There need to be a bye-law by District Assemblies to compel advertisers, especially political parties, to remove their 'perpetual' billboard after a certain time or be fined heavily, if that duty reverts to the Assemblies.

There need to be a bye-law by District Assemblies to compel advertisers, especially political parties, to remove their 'perpetual' billboard after a certain time or be fined heavily, if that duty reverts to the Assemblies.
If this is not done Ghana becomes a nation in election throes everyday and not only is it an eye-sore, it jeopardizes security of pedestrians and drivers.
It is easy to find advertisers because, their telephone numbers are on bill boars; so is it to find local/district/constituency offices of political parties and FINE them heavily for neglect of their duties in removing billboards
