What are the implications of not wearing the wigs and gowns by the judiciary? Ghana has gained its independence from Britain many years ago and that outmoded attire by the judiciary since our independence must be replaced with our own national identity. Other African countries have done away with this British judicial attires and Ghana must emulate them. Ghana has a beautiful culture that can be inculcated into our judicial system. Where is our identity? It is so impressive to see Ghanaians wearing their own fabrics with beautiful designs to work and other social gatherings .

The wig make you look just as a foolish clown out there.
Quit wearing it.
The wig is one of the colonial master`s legacy and must be burned into ashes.

our traditional leaders/chiefs used to act as judges in the traditional courts (and their verdicts respected) without wearing those ridiculous wigs. The black man has no self-esteem. He thinks he's worth something only when he acts like an European. So sad!!!
